[accordion_toggle title=”Amalgam Filling“]Amalgam Fillings (or silver fillings) are rarely used here at this office. When we are unable to obtain dry conditions needed for a bonded filling then we will use Amalgam as it is the better restorative choice. Amalgam fillings are made up of an alloy containing different metals. This filling material does contain Mercury, yet after much study it has been deemed to be completely safe by the ADA.
